As part of the regional language spring festival ‘E Friehjohr fer unseri Sproch’, Rosheim is celebrating the Alsatian dialect with a friendly, intergenerational afternoon. Young and old alike can take part in workshops focusing on the language and regional traditions:
- At 2pm and 3.30pm: workshop for children aged 3 to 10: Reading of a kamishibai “Hafele & Storichele”, followed by a clay workshop to make your own “Hafele”. - Duration: 1 hour - Free upon registration
- At 3.30 pm: An introductory workshop to the Alsatian dialect, to discover the expressions and sounds of our region, open to all. Duration: 1 hour - Free upon registration
- At 8 pm: Screening of the film “D’r Herr Maire” in the presence of director Georges Drion. Before the film, previously unseen footage of Rosheim in the 1960s will be shown, focusing on the Flower Parade and the Schlumberger Challenge. - Free, with refreshments
